As we are entering into a new year, it is quite fitting that I end this year 2024 with this piece of art that, to me, resembles a new dawn of era.
We are indeed entering into a new era. I truly believe that the world is changing for the better, as more and more people are awakening and more are realizing their true nature of who they truly are and what they are capable of. We are all gifted in so many ways! And it is through this gift, we can bring in more wonderful vibrations to this earth. The more we nurture ourselves, the better our lives become and that, without effort, radiates out into the world.
On this note, I've learned that it is okay to put ourselves first, when it comes to self-care. Self-care is self-LOVE. And self-love is not selfish. If every one of us puts self-care as a priority, collectively we could change the world in an instant. Also, by loving ourselves more, we love others just the same too. How can we love others when we can't learn to love ourselves first? It is so important to nurture our minds and bodies to elevate our spirits. It is one of the most logic and profound realizations.
Self-love is simply an act of aligning ourselves with the highest of vibrations - by simply doing what we love to do the most, following our passions, taking care of our bodies, and intuitively (and fearlessly) following our own divinely created paths. We are undeniably all creative beings. And if only enough of us would realize this, everything on this earth would be effortless.
This painting that I created is of a garden of hydrangeas and a giant bumble bee (and blueberries). All the elements represent the aspect of creation. They are all part of the equation of the cycle of creation. And through this creation, you create a harmonious environment upon which everything can thrive successfully, in this case the garden itself. You cannot have a garden without the bee, for the bee itself is the bringer of life. Without bees, this world would not be able to grow food, and the flowers will not survive. Our gardens would die. Our world would not survive. Humans would not survive.
So this is the message of "The New Era":
Nurture and harness our own true nature in order to create a beautiful and harmonious life on earth.
(On a different note, it's funny how I have just realized the message of this painting right after I have completed it. Most of the time, I don't understand why I painted what I've painted, until I have finished it. In most cases, paintings like this would tend to hold a meaning or a message for the collective. This painting took me approximately 50+ hours to complete, and the journey was worth it!) - A
Artwork was done using mostly watercolour, and also other mediums such as coloured pencils.
